Welcome to our website

  • Welcome to our church website. I am delighted that you have chosen to spend a few moments looking around, discovering our church community.

During the next few weeks we will not be able to meet on Sunday mornings, until the Coronavirus subsides.

The latest letter from the Bishop on the situation can be found here.

I will be looking at ways in which we can pray together, and worship together without being together in the same building.

Each evening I am saying Night Prayer on the internet using one of our Facebook pages using words which can be found on our website here.

    Sunday 24th May is below.

The words I used can be found here.

In these difficult times it will often not be possible to attend the funeral of someone close to us.

The Church of England has produced a short liturgy for you to use at home while the funeral is happening. I hope you find this of some comfort at what will be a very difficult moment.  The liturgy is here.

On Tuesday at 11.15am a short service based on this liturgy, in memory of Huck, will appear on the St Nicholas' Facebook page, and also on YouTube:

We are also developing a new version of the phone app - the charges for continuing the old one were extortionate!
